200kHz Thread-fed multi-channel data chart

Post by copilot90 » Tue Feb 28, 2017 8:25 am

I am planning software.

Is it technically possible?

The minimum values for the Y axis are 1 and 0.

8 channels of data should be displayed in 200 kHz.

The X axis time is about 10 seconds.

Will the hardware specifications be affected?

The data is entered by parsing the data coming in UDP.

Please judge by the expert.

There are number of examples in our Demo app, which will be interested for you. If if don't have, you could download LightingChart trial version and test for yourself. Although "Real-time monitoring" examples may be interesting for, but most relevant for your question are "Billion Points" (only on WPF not on WinForms Demo) and "Thread-fed multi-channel data". The later one image is attached with parameters (right side panel) you asked. Average FPS is around ~100 (bottom right corner).

Good GPU is always useful for that kind of demanding applications. DirectX11 compatible graphics hardware is recommended.

All the best,
Kestutis
