LightningChart Pro package requirements

  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008 or 2010.
  • .NET 3.5 or newer
  • Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit.
  • DirectX 9.0c compatible or newer 3D display adapter. A powerful DirectX10 level display adapter with 512 MB memory or more is recommended for maximal performance and visual appearance.

LightningChart Pro

LightningChart Pro is the fastest chart component, in the world. It is especially designed for professional high-speed data acquisition software, PC-based oscilloscopes and signal analyzers, scientific research, medical and other real-time measurement and signal monitoring applications. Being optimized for high-speed sampled signal data handling with innovative CPU overhead saving techniques, it is able to handle huge point counts, where all other chart/graph controls get delayed, frozen or crashed.

ChartManager

ChartManager is a component coordinating the interoperation of multiple LightningChart Pro components. It allows for example series drag-drop from chart to another.

Waveform component types

  • Sine: adjustable Amplitude, offset, frequency and delay

  • Triangle: adjustable Amplitude, offset, frequency, delay and symmetry
  • Noise: random noise with adjustable amplitude and offset

SignalGenerator is a multi-functional signal generator component. It allows combining different waveform types into single, real-time output signal. The waveform components can be set with a built-in user interface or by code.

The output signal sampling frequency can be freely set and the operating mode can be selected between threaded and timered modes. Several signal generators can be combined as one, synchronized, multi-channel output via master-slave relationship. SignalGenerator is a very handy component when developing real-time monitoring solutions, with LightningChart Pro or other tools.

LightningChart Basic

LightningChart Basic

LightningChart Basic is a good choice for applications needing to present dynamic data graphic presentation in real-time or review it afterwards. It gives very good real-time monitoring performance with low CPU load.

LightningChart Basic is like LightningChart Pro, but lacks some features and the real- time monitoring performance is delimited to 15 frames/sec. See the comparison table for details.
