Re: Scale labels become clipped

Hi,

from description this indeed seems like a bug in the Gauges.
Unfortunately - as this is a "as is" released free product - we'll have to delay the investigation of the issue a bit.

We'll report more later when we have investigated the issue.

Re: Series data binding in Semi-Bindable Chart

Hi, Great to hear that you got your app working! On a quick glance I see no problems with your implementation. It's pretty much what a meant with the option 2. It might not be the optimal solution though, so if it's performance critical system there might be lots of things you can do to make it fast...

Re: Series data binding in Semi-Bindable Chart

Hi, the problem on the application is that the bound series is given it's data only once - when it's created by converter - and when the source data changes it does not affect the bound series data in any way as the data is not shared or linked in any way. In more detail, the bound series is created...

Re: Assembly not found exception when run UnitTests on TeamC

Hi, It's a bit hard to determine why the engine initialization is failing from this information, so we'd need to get the GetEngineInitResults(). Unfortunately I can think of no way to get it properly if this happens on construct time, as you can not properly register to any events before the crash. ...

Re: Alternative for IChartNode.SetSubNodeOwners?

Hi jcso, the SetSubnodeOwners method has been moved away from the _public_ IChartNode interface, as it's something that should never be called through the public interface. It is still available internally on a different internal interface. For source code clients the method is still available, and ...

Hi lokesh,

that is definitely a bug. It's now fixed and will be included in the next release. The property should return ViewRoundBase as you suspected.

Re: InvalidOperationException when closing app

Hi,

Is there a possibility of creating a small application that replicates the probem? Possibly by modifying some of our demo applications to work the way you use LightningChart? We have been unable to reproduce the issue and really can't fix it before we can get it replicated.

Hi Matus,

could you provide a stacktrace or minidump? The given exception can come from multiple different places.

Re: FormSizeChange in HighDPI PC

Hi Fukasawa, the behavior is indeed related to DPI system. In windows applications can be in one of 3 different state regarding handling of DPI settings. They can be either un-aware , system aware , per-monitor aware or the awareness might not be defined (kind of fourth option). If WinForms applicat...

Re: v7, Polar - extreme zoom failure

Hi Andreas and thanks for the report. The zooming out can indeed break the polar chart drawing. For now this can be prevented by using BeforeZooming event, that has a Cancel property that cancels the ongoing zooming. Unfortunately there is a bug in the event that causes the reported new zooming scal...

Re: superscript axis labels

I'm afraid that the problem is that the used font does not support all of the used characters. As a result the system falls back to using some other font, that contains the given characters. As the characters can be of different shape & size, the result can be a bit erratic. This is an internal ...

Re: MeasureText seems to not work for monospaced fonts

There indeed seems to be a bug in text measurement with WPFFonts created using constructors taking System.Drawing.FontFamily as a parameter.

The problem will be fixed in the next assembly pack. Untill then, the fonts created with the other constructors can be used to get proper measurement results.

Re: MeasureText seems to not work for monospaced fonts

I'm afraid we can't reproduce the problem you describe. When strings of same amount of letters are measured, monospaced fonts produce the same values no matter the characters used, as it should. Also the annotation automatic size detemination seems to be working correctly. Tested the system with Luc...
