y-axis layout

Post by fredd41 » Mon Sep 15, 2014 12:17 pm

Hi

I suggest a new Y-axis layout:

Possibility to layer all Y-Axis to show only one with the biggest max and the smallest min.
When you have a lot of segments, the layered view is inappropriate.

example:

.ViewXY.AxisLayout.YAxisAutoPlacement = YAxisAutoPlacement.AllLeft
.ViewXY.AxisLayout.YAxesLayout = Merged

thanks

Thanks for your propositions. Can you please introduce yourself by e-mail and send a picture of your proposition.

Our feature improvement list is long but if idea is good and not too laborious to implement, we'll consider it.

hi

as you see in the picture, the segment in the second take all the place.
Imagine with 20 segments, the layered view is inappropriate.

How about just assigning the same Y axis for all series, and setting its Minimum = -100 and Maximum = 50?

not interesting when the user switch between stacked and layered view
you must create and delete axis all the time
