hi

add a chartultimate in a form (in c# or vb)
add sampledataseries in the designer (click viewxy, click sampledataseries, click ...)
add a couple of point in sampledouble (example : 4, 0, 5, 2, 8)
click ok
you will show your series

now close your form or your project
reopen the form
the series is still there but not visible , you must re-add it
