CustomTicks do not show

Please see the attached project for illustrative code. If the right most custom tick label text is set to an empty string or a space, a divide by zero error occurs and none of the tick labels show up on the graph. Without going into a whole lot of detail, we have a requirement that the min and / or max tick labels should not show under certain conditions.
