ViewXY - missing axis labels

When the chart gets sufficiently small, the automatic placement of axis labels fails and neither labels nor ticks will be displayed:
In this example, X range and Y range are -32768 to +32768. Similar results with +/-10000.
Similar, but probably not related: Logarithmic scaling
No intermediates are calculated, thus there can be just a single value or even no value on the axis. This is not linked to the control size.
Version is 6.5.5.
